We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team and support our daily financial and accounting operations.

Your responsibilities as an Accountant include:

  • Performing day-to-day accounting operations and supporting accurate financial reporting
  • Preparing, reviewing and maintaining accounting documents, schedules, reconciliations and supporting records
  • Preparing and processing invoices, acts, e-invoices and other accounting documentation
  • Recording and analyzing journal entries, accruals and adjustments
  • Supporting accounts receivable activities, including billing accuracy, payment follow-up and resolution of outstanding balances
  • Monitoring bank operations and payments
  • Supporting month-end closing and monthly financial reporting processes
  • Assisting with budget-to-actual analysis and investigating material variances
  • Maintaining organized and audit-ready financial records
  • Responding to internal and external audit requests when needed
  • Ensuring compliance with company accounting policies, internal procedures and local regulations
  • Collaborating with internal teams to support financial accuracy and operational processes
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy and internal controls
  • Maintaining confidentiality of financial and employee information
  • Participating in special projects and performing other accounting-related duties as assigned
  • Timely and quality performance of duties

To join our team you need to possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field
  • Relevant experience in accounting: minimum 2-3 years
  • Experience in accounting, accounts receivable, billing or contract accounting is preferable
  • Knowledge of local tax and accounting procedures
  • Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, e-gov, e-invoice and banking systems is preferable
  • Professional Accountant Certificate (PMS) is an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism and discretion
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Good communication skills in Azerbaijani; Russian and English are an advantage

Conditions:

  • Schedule of work: Monday-Friday, 10:00 - 17:00
  • Salary: negotiable based on experience and skills
