Corporate Lawyer

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Lawyer to provide comprehensive legal support to the company’s business operations. The successful candidate will have strong experience in corporate and commercial law, with previous legal experience in the logistics sector being mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal support on corporate, commercial, contractual, employment, and other business-related matters;
• Draft, review, negotiate, and amend local and international commercial agreements;
• Review contracts provided by business partners, identify potential legal risks, and provide recommendations;
• Provide full legal support for corporate matters, including company establishment, registration, reorganization, amendments to corporate documents, transfer of ownership interests, and liquidation;
• Handle legal matters, contracts, and disputes related to logistics operations;
• Identify and assess legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures;
• Support the process of obtaining and maintaining licenses, permits, and other regulatory documents;
• Prepare legal opinions, official letters, claims, applications, and other legal documentation;
• Monitor changes in Azerbaijani legislation and assess their potential impact on business operations;
• Provide professional legal advice to management and ensure timely handling of legal matters.

Candidate Requirements

• University degree in Law;
• Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate and commercial law;
• Previous experience working as a lawyer within the logistics sector is mandatory;
• Strong practical knowledge of corporate, commercial, and contract law;
• Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements;
• Ability to independently manage corporate and commercial legal matters;
• Fluency in Russian and English, both written and spoken;
• Azerbaijani language proficiency;
• Strong legal drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills;
• High level of responsibility, attention to detail, confidentiality, and professional ethics.

Working Conditions

• Location: Baku
• Working schedule: Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00
• Salary: 3,000–4,000 AZN
• The salary range is preliminary and may be discussed depending on the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications.
