Doctor (Offshore)

Job Description

• An international offshore project is seeking a qualified and experienced Doctor to provide comprehensive medical support and emergency healthcare services onboard an offshore operations vessel.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health and wellbeing of personnel, managing medical emergencies, conducting occupational health activities, maintaining medical records, and supporting health, safety, and hygiene programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and emergency response services to offshore personnel.
• Monitor employee health and fitness for duty.
• Conduct health surveillance, hygiene and sanitation inspections.
• Maintain medical records, reports, and electronic medical databases.
• Organize and deliver health awareness and first aid training programs.
• Manage medical supplies, medicines, and equipment inventories.
• Perform alcohol and drug screening activities in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and response activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Medicine from a recognized university.
• Valid Azerbaijan State Medical License.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency medicine, intensive care, reanimation, or ambulance services.
• Minimum 3 years of offshore medical experience.
• Valid ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications.
• Experience with medical reporting systems and occupational health programs.
• Fluent Azerbaijani and English language skills.
• Russian language knowledge is an advantage.
