English Language / Literature Teacher

Khazar University Dunya IB School seeks an English Language and Literature Teacher who will be part of the dynamic team. 

Qualification and experience:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in English Philology; English Literature; English Teaching
• Teaching experience in secondary school is desirable
• An international teaching qualification is desirable

Skills:

• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Exceptional organisational and communication skills
• Knowledge of various teaching methods

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare lessons in relation to individual student's needs and the MYP curriculum
• Become familiar with the curriculum guidelines and work toward their successful implementation
• Preparing the classroom by gathering and setting up equipment.
• Acquire appropriate teaching materials and resources
• Attending faculty and parent-teacher meetings.
• Monitoring inventory and sourcing art supplies, as needed.
• Ensuring that the classroom is clean after each lesson.
• Perform teacher duties according to schedule
