Experienced Accountant

About project:

• We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our team, playing a crucial role in delivering accounting, financial and management reporting services to our client. As a consulting firm, we provide tax, accounting and finance services to one of the major companies operating in the oil and gas sector. To support service delivery, a team has been seconded to the client’s office, and the selected candidate will likewise be assigned to work at the client’s office. 

Job description:

• Review, verify, and process supplier invoices in SAP in a timely manner;
• Ensure accurate cost allocation across departments and projects;
• Monitor and analyse indirect costs and provide detailed cost analysis report to management;
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reports;
• Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts;
• Support budgeting and variance analysis processes;
• Assist with internal audits and provide the required supporting documentation.

Candidate requirements:

• University degree in economics, finance, accounting and/or other related business disciplines;
• Solid knowledge in tax legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and accounting;
• Solid skills and working experience in MS Office Programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and accounting software (1C, SAP or other);
• Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in the related filed;
• Intermediate level of English (Russian is an advantage);
• Professional qualification (such as ACCA F3, F7, or PMS) is required;
• Strong motivation for growth and professional development;
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet the deadlines;
