HR Business Partner

Role overview: 

• We are looking for an experienced and business-focused HR Business Partner to support leaders and employees by delivering strategic and operational HR solutions that enable business performance and foster a high-performing culture.
• As a trusted partner to the business, you will collaborate with leaders across commercial, operational, and support functions to drive organizational effectiveness, talent development, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.

What You'll be doing:

• Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with business objectives. 
• Provide expert guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and performance management. 
• Coach and support managers on employee relations, leadership, and people-related decisions. 
• Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for assigned functions and support workforce planning initiatives. 
• Drive annual performance management, talent review, succession planning, and People Review processes. 
• Support organizational change initiatives, restructures, and workforce optimization projects. 
• Analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to support business decisions. 
• Lead employee engagement initiatives and coordinate action plans based on engagement survey results. 
• Identify capability gaps and partner with managers to develop learning and development solutions. 
• Monitor turnover, headcount, absenteeism, and other key people metrics, providing recommendations for improvement. 
• Ensure compliance with Azerbaijan Labor Legislation, internal policies, and global HR standards. 
• Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of global and local HR initiatives, policies, and processes.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, Law, or a related field. 
• 3+ years of HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience, preferably within an international or fast-paced organization. 
• Has proven experience partnering with leaders on organizational development, talent management, employee relations, and performance management. 
• Is confident interpreting HR metrics and translating data into actionable business insights. 
• Builds trusted relationships, communicates effectively, and confidently influences stakeholders at all organizational levels. 
• Demonstrates strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. 
• Thrives in a dynamic environment, manages multiple priorities, and takes ownership of delivering high-quality results.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Azerbaijan Labor Legislation and HR best practices;
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills; SAP/HRIS experience is an advantage;
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills (ethics in business communication, negotiation and presentation, decision-making, objections handling, teamwork, drive for results, teaching skills and trainability);
• Fluent in Azerbaijani and Russian; English Upper-Intermediate.
