HSE and Sustainability New Initiatives Support Lead

About the Role

• We are seeking a proactive and motivated HSE and Sustainability New Initiatives Support Lead to support the planning, coordination, and implementation of Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), Sustainability, and ESG initiatives within an international organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to responsible business practices, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of HSE and Sustainability initiatives across the organization.
• Monitor sustainability, environmental compliance, and ESG developments in Azerbaijan and provide internal recommendations.
• Coordinate with local and corporate teams to consolidate annual sustainability, local content, and HSE plans.
• Engage with regulatory authorities, business associations, and external stakeholders on sustainability and workplace safety matters.
• Facilitate collaboration with institutional partners and industry representatives to strengthen sustainability programs and corporate partnerships.
• Assist in sustainability reporting, audits, certifications, governance processes, and KPI tracking.
• Support the identification and implementation of cross-country initiatives and synergies.
• Ensure full compliance with company HSEQ policies, procedures, and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in project coordination, initiatives management, communications, public relations, or related areas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English.
• Strong project coordination, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze regulatory and institutional information and provide practical recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of sustainability, ESG, environmental compliance, and corporate responsibility practices is an advantage.
