HSE Officer – Offshore - IRES (Bakı, 2026)

We are looking for an experienced HSE Officer to join an offshore construction project within the Oil & Gas industry.

Location: Offshore Construction Vessel

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 1 year (renewable)

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards during offshore operations.
• Manage and monitor the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
• Conduct Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Perform regular HSE inspections, audits, and site safety checks.
• Deliver HSE inductions, safety training, and awareness sessions.
• Participate in Toolbox Talks (TBT) and Safety Stand Downs (SSD).
• Monitor subcontractors' HSE performance and compliance.
• Identify unsafe conditions, report non-conformances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in incident investigations and reporting.
• Maintain HSE records, logbooks, reports, and performance indicators.
• Support the Vessel HSE Coordinator in implementing the HSE Management System.

Requirements

• Higher education.
• Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in Oil & Gas construction projects.
• Previous offshore experience is mandatory.
• Fluent English and Azerbaijani.
• Strong knowledge of PTW systems, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
• Knowledge of electrical safety, working at height, and occupational safety requirements.
• Experience conducting HSE training and safety inductions.
• Strong communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
