HVAC Technician (Offshore)

On behalf of our international partner, we are currently looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join an offshore operation vessel.

Location: Offshore Operation Vessel

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, installation, and replacement of HVAC systems onboard the vessel.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Read and interpret HVAC layout drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Install, remove, and replace HVAC system components using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Maintain fire dampers, HVAC duct systems, and associated actuation systems.
• Support the Engine Room Department when required.
• Ensure proper housekeeping of the worksite.
• Participate in Toolbox Talks and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) meetings.
• Strictly comply with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by the 2nd Engineer.

Requirements

• Technical education in HVAC, Mechanical, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an HVAC Technician on construction or offshore vessels within the oil & gas industry.
• Good knowledge of HVAC diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read HVAC electrical diagrams and technical drawings.
• Experience with welding, brazing, hot and cold work procedures is an advantage.
• Knowledge of compressed and flammable gas handling and safety practices.
• Good command of English.
• Fluency in Azerbaijani.
