Junior Planning Engineer

IRES is currently looking for a Junior Planning Engineer for one of our clients operating in the Oil & Gas industry.

Requirements:

• Higher education
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar planning role within the Oil & Gas industry
• Fluent English and Azerbaijani
• Understanding of project planning, scheduling and progress control
• Knowledge of CPM networking logic and schedule updating
• Good analytical, reporting and communication skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work effectively within a project team

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Control Manager and Lead Planning Engineer with project planning and progress control activities
• Update project schedules based on actual progress and forecast dates
• Monitor progress and productivity against the baseline schedule
• Identify schedule deviations, assess their impact and support corrective actions
• Prepare and maintain 90-day look-ahead schedules
• Support preparation of weekly and monthly project reports
• Monitor Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction and Commissioning progress
• Maintain records of significant project events, deliverables, materials status and contractual obligations
• Support time-impact analysis related to contract changes and claims
• Assist with Project Status Reports and progress measurement activities
• Support development and maintenance of WBS/CBS/OBS structures
• Ensure compliance with company HSEQ policies and procedures
