Junior Reporting Specialist

Baku Shipyard LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Reporting Specialist to join our Finance Department. The main role of the Junior Reporting Specialist is to support the Finance Department in a wide range of accounting & financial operations-related tasks. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Statement of Profit or Loss, Cash Flow Statement, and Statement of Changes in Equity complying with IFRS.
• Support the preparation of financial and management reports.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of the Trial Balance to ensure data accuracy
• Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. 
• Assist in maintaining the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting data. 
• Support external audit processes by preparing requested documentation and explanations. 
• Assist in ERP-related reporting activities, including testing and validating report outputs. 
• Help maintain, improve, and optimize reporting templates and existing reports. 
• Perform data analysis and other ad hoc reporting tasks assigned by the line manager. 
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and reporting procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Passed papers on international accounting certifications (e.g., ACCA F3, F7) is advantage.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience is advantage;
• High analytical skills and high level of accuracy;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and working knowledge of English; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
