Line-up Operator – Offshore

IRES is currently looking for experienced Line-up Operators for an offshore oil & gas project.

Work Location: Offshore Construction Vessel

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out pipe movements and fit-up operations in the prefabrication area, Line-up Station and J-Lay Tower Assembly Station.
• Operate pipeline conveyors and transfer cars in the Double Joint prefabrication area.
• Operate clamps during fit-up operations in the J-Lay Tower Assembly Station.
• Operate support pipe rollers and transfer cars at Line-up Stations.
• Operate ILUC equipment and associated winches.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions.
• Participate in Tool-Box Talks and Job Safety Analysis.
• Perform all operations in accordance with HSE and company safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Technical education.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the oil & gas industry.
• Practical knowledge of Line-up Station / pipe handling equipment, transfer cars and conveyors.
• Experience operating clamps in J-Lay Tower Assembly Stations.
• Good understanding of the Permit to Work (PTW) system and safe working practices.
• Azerbaijani: fluent.
• English: intermediate.
