Project Control Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective control of budget, schedule, scope, and risks.
• Establish and maintain an effective Project Control System.
• Ensure integration between planning/scheduling, cost control, and risk management functions.
• Develop and maintain the Project WBS, Contract Master Schedule, Control Budget, Cash Flow, and Risk & Opportunity Management Plan.
• Monitor project progress against approved baselines and identify schedule, cost, and performance deviations.
• Ensure timely preparation of project forecasts, progress reports, and client reporting.
• Define Project Control requirements for subcontractors and vendors.
• Coordinate the setup and implementation of the Document Control System and related project information systems.
• Ensure effective implementation of project risk and opportunity management processes.
• Lead, coordinate, and supervise the Project Control team.
• Maintain close interfaces with Project Management, Procurement, Engineering, Administration, ICT, and other relevant functions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable HSEQ policies, procedures, and requirements.

Requirements

• Higher Education / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Project Controls experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, project planning/scheduling, risk management, and document control.
• Strong understanding of Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Good knowledge of Project Control processes, tools, reporting, interfaces, and deliverables.
• Strong project analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Strong managerial, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English and Azerbaijani.
