Project Planner / Project Scheduler

EURODESIGN is looking for a Project Planner / Project Scheduler to support the planning and scheduling activities of an EPC project within the Oil & Gas sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and regularly updating the integrated project schedule covering detailed design, procurement, cabinet build, integration, testing and commissioning activities. The role will provide accurate progress information, short-term look-aheads and schedule visibility to support timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the approved baseline and current detailed project schedule using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6.
• Collect progress updates from engineering, procurement, vendors, cabinet-build and testing teams and update actual and forecast dates.
• Update activity progress, logic links, constraints, calendars, milestones and remaining durations in line with the project reporting cycle.
• Prepare weekly and monthly schedule reports, progress curves, look-ahead plans, milestone reports and variance summaries.
• Identify delayed and near-critical activities, schedule interfaces and emerging risks and promptly highlight them to the Project Manager.
• Maintain schedule records, assumptions and change history.
• Support scheduling activities across multiple similar projects when required.

Requirements

• Technical or engineering background related to Oil & Gas, construction or EPC projects.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, project coordination or project controls within Oil & Gas or construction projects.
• Experience working with FEED, detailed design, EPC or EPCM projects is highly desirable.
• Understanding of Level 3/4/5 schedules, project dependencies, critical path, float, baselines and schedule variance.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Primavera P6 is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting engineering, procurement, fabrication/build or testing schedules.
• Experience in IT and Telecom projects would be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, logical thinking and ability to work with multiple workstreams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, procurement, vendors, workshop and testing teams to obtain reliable progress information.
• English – working proficiency.
• Azerbaijani – fluent.
• Russian – working proficiency is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or project controls training/certification.
• Advanced Excel reporting skills and familiarity with Power BI.
