Science / Chemistry Teacher

Main Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Science Education, or a related field
• Previous teaching experience in Science and/or Chemistry
• Strong knowledge of Chemistry and general Science concepts
• Experience working with students in a school environment
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to conduct and supervise practical experiments safely
• Ability to prepare assessments, assignments, and learning materials
• Strong English language skills
• Ability to use digital tools and educational technologies effectively
• Team-oriented, responsible, creative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
• Commitment to students’ academic and personal development

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Science and Chemistry lessons according to the school curriculum
• Prepare lesson plans, presentations, practical activities, and laboratory experiments
• Assess and monitor students’ learning and academic progress
• Create an engaging and supportive classroom environment
• Ensure laboratory safety procedures are followed during practical activities
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental activities
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities

Preferred: Experience with the Cambridge Curriculum, IGCSE Chemistry, and/or an international school environment is an advantage.
