Senior Accountant / Lead Accountant (IFRS & Tax Reporting)

Role Description

• To organize accounting in accordance with the Law on Accounting of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
• Preparation and submission of reports to tax and other government agencies;
• Responding to incoming correspondence from state institutions (Tax Authorities and other regulatory bodies);
• Managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, advance reports, and preparing reconciliation statements;
• Controlling payroll calculations for administrative staff;
• Preparation of payment orders and banking documents;
• Entering and maintaining financial data in the ERP system;
• Preparation, review, and administration of contracts and supporting documentation in compliance with company policies and applicable legislation;
• Maintaining contract records and monitoring contract validity periods, amendments, and renewals.

Qualifications

• Higher education (finance, economics is preferable);
• Minimum 2 years of work experience as an accountant;
• Fluent knowledge of Azerbaijani and Russian languages, English - intermediate
• Must know tax legislation and International Financial Reporting Standards;
• PMS (Preference is given to those with international level certificates (ACCA);
• Ability to work with Excel and ERP systems;
• Ability to work in a team;
• High communication and analytical thinking skills

Work conditions

• Office in city center
• 5-day work schedule
• Minimal salary is 1000-1200 AZN (depending on knowledge) + KPI bonuses
