Senior Buyer

IRES is currently looking for an experienced Senior Buyer for a project in the Oil & Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of goods, services, and subcontracted works in line with cost, schedule, quality, and company requirements
• Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to vendors
• Support vendors during preparation of technical and commercial proposals
• Prepare commercial/economic bid tabulations and evaluate proposals
• Lead commercial negotiations with vendors
• Prepare Purchase Orders and subcontracts and manage contractual deviations
• Follow up and negotiate Purchase Order/subcontract revisions when required
• Review and comment on technical documentation related to Purchase Requisitions and Technical Evaluations
• Maintain and manage procurement and contractual documentation
• Ensure full compliance with company procedures, systems, and HSEQ requirements

Requirements:

• Higher education
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar procurement/buyer role within the Oil & Gas industry
• Strong experience in RFQs, bid evaluation, vendor selection, commercial negotiations, Purchase Orders and subcontracts
• Fluent English and Azerbaijani
• Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills
