Senior Project Engineer

Work location: Azerbaijan, Baku, ISR Plaza

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week / 5-day working week

This position is open to citizens of Azerbaijan due to local hiring regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Senior Project Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring effective communication and coordination between various stakeholders involved in the end-to-end project delivery.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering disciplines, clients and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with the client's representatives to ensure that their expectations and requirements are integrated
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels to ensure alignment on project objectives.
• Provide regular updates to schedules, activities and milestones.
• Facilitate regular meetings and discussions between relevant parties to address interface-related matters.
• Evaluate the impact of changes on project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Work closely with the Project Controls team
• Participate in project reviews to identify opportunities for improving the interface management process.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall project performance.
• A long-term, full-time position.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as a Project Engineer in the oil and gas industry, preferably within an EPC environment.
• Strong technical background with a thorough understanding of engineering principles and project management methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project).
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., API, ASME, ANSI).
• PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.
