Electrical Engineer - IRES (Bakı, 2026)

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join a project team in the Oil & Gas construction sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe execution, inspection, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment in accordance with project specifications and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise electrical works in compliance with safety, quality, and project requirements.
• Perform electrical wiring and connections for equipment, circuit breakers, transformers, control cabinets, and other electrical apparatus.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with approved project drawings and technical specifications.
• Conduct electrical inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
• Verify the safe operating condition of electrical equipment and materials, reporting any abnormalities.
• Perform electrical system and circuit continuity testing using appropriate testing instruments.
• Coordinate electrical activities with other disciplines to minimize operational conflicts and unsafe conditions.
• Ensure compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures and HSE requirements.
• Maintain electrical systems, switchboards, instrumentation, and associated equipment, including high-voltage, low-voltage, and DC systems.
• Support maintenance activities involving SCR control systems, EO systems, and electrical instrumentation.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas construction projects.
• Fluent Azerbaijani and English (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of international electrical construction standards, codes, and regulations.
• Experience with electrical and instrumentation equipment, inspection, testing, and maintenance procedures.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing instruments, including multimeters, meggers, loop calibrators, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Solid understanding of electrical principles, power distribution systems, electrical connections, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, technical documentation, and project specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of electrical safety procedures and Permit-to-Work systems.
