Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical works in accordance with safety and quality requirements;
• Carry out electrical/electronic wiring connections for equipment, circuit breakers, transformers, cabinets and other electrical apparatus;
• Ensure all works are performed according to project drawings;
• Inspect equipment and materials to ensure safe operating conditions and report any anomalies;
• Test electrical systems, wiring, equipment and fixtures using appropriate testing devices;
• Perform electrical inspections and maintenance and assist in analyzing electrical breakdowns;
• Maintain electrical systems, switchboards, high/low-voltage and DC systems, control systems and related electrical instrumentation;
• Follow permit-to-work procedures and maintain proper housekeeping at the work location.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas / Construction sector;
• Good knowledge of international construction standards, codes and regulations;
• Knowledge of electrical and instrumentation equipment and testing procedures;
• Ability to safely use electrical instruments such as multimeters, meggers and loop calibrators;
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution systems, controls and electrical connections;
• Ability to read and understand electrical technical documentation and project drawings;
• Fluent Azerbaijani and English.
