Freight Forwarder - Baltic Transline Azerbaijan (Bakı, 2026)

Job Responsibilities

• Search for and secure profitable transport orders and cargo loads in the market.
• Identify and develop relationships with new clients, hauliers, and transport partners.
• Negotiate freight rates and transport conditions with customers and carriers.
• Organize transport operations by matching available loads with suitable hauliers.
• Monitor market prices and analyze freight market trends to identify business opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and transport partners to ensure long-term cooperation.
• Coordinate transport orders, negotiate solutions to operational issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Achieve individual and departmental targets related to sales, profitability, and business development.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or road transport.
• Fluent English is mandatory, both written and spoken.
• Higher education is required, preferably in Logistics, Transport Management, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and sales skills.
• Ability to search for loads, negotiate rates, and build a reliable network of hauliers.
• Good knowledge of the international road transport market and freight pricing.
• Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications and Advantages

• Russian language proficiency is a strong advantage.
• An established network of hauliers and transport partners.
• Experience working with European freight exchanges and load boards.
• Knowledge of CMR documentation and international road transport procedures.
• Experience with transport management systems (TMS) or ERP platforms.
• Additional language skills and experience in international logistics markets.
