Group Head of Human Resources

IRES is currently seeking an experienced and strategic Group Head of Human Resources for one of our clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and leading the Group-wide HR strategy, ensuring consistent and effective HR practices across multiple business entities, and acting as a strategic partner to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead the Group-wide HR strategy in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals and business objectives;
• Provide strategic HR leadership across all companies within the Group, ensuring alignment and consistency of HR practices;
• Develop and implement Group-wide HR policies, frameworks, and processes, taking into account the specific needs of each business entity;
• Partner with Group leadership and company heads on organizational development, workforce strategy, talent management, and other people-related matters;
• Lead and develop the Group HR team, ensuring effective collaboration and high-quality HR service delivery;
• Monitor HR KPIs, workforce analytics, and key people metrics to support data-driven decision-making;
• Establish and oversee the Group’s HR operating model, governance, policies, processes, and standards;
• Identify opportunities to harmonize, optimize, and improve HR processes across the Group;
• Provide strategic oversight of HR budgets, resources, systems, and technology to ensure an efficient and scalable HR function.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field;
• 10+ years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in an HR leadership role;
• Strong experience in HR Strategy, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, and Employee Relations;
• Proven leadership and people management capabilities;
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills;
• Good knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices;
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English.
