About the Role

• We are looking for an HSE Specialist to support the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards across both office and operational environments. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements, while promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
• The successful candidate will also support HSE aspects related to operational activities, including oversight of contractor compliance and adherence to HSE requirements under contract terms.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of HSE policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with local legislation and internal HSE standards
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Assist in incident reporting, investigation, and documentation
• Organize and deliver HSE trainings and awareness sessions for employees
• Coordinate and support fire safety and firefighting activities, including drills, equipment checks, and emergency preparedness
• Maintain HSE records, documentation, and reporting
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and SOCAR HSE to ensure alignment with HQ requirements and drive consistent HSE practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in operational HSE, preferably in oil & gas or industrial environments
• Good knowledge of local HSE regulations and international standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a part-time capacity
