IT Technical Specialist

Location: Offshore Construction Vessel

IRES is currently looking for experienced IT Technical Specialists to join an offshore construction project.

Requirements:

• Higher technical education
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar IT technical/support role
• Fluent Azerbaijani and English
• Experience with Help Desk functions
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
• Ability and flexibility to work in office, remote base facilities, and offshore environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day technical support and administration of ICT infrastructure
• Maintain and repair hardware, software, and service applications
• Identify and troubleshoot software and hardware issues
• Perform regular hardware and software maintenance
• Install cables and configure hardware and software
• Run diagnostics and use test equipment to identify technical problems
• Document system addresses and configurations
• Communicate effectively with end users and customer management
• Ensure security and system functionality through required temporary fixes
• Comply with all company HSEQ policies and procedures
