Technical Director

Position Summary

• Seeton Azerbaijan is looking for an experienced Technical Director to lead the technical design and development of customer solutions across IT Infrastructure, Network, and Security technologies.
• The role combines solution architecture and technical design, technical presales, product and solution portfolio development, and close collaboration with customers, Sales and Account Management teams, vendors, and distributors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and technical design across Infrastructure, Network, and Security technologies. 
• Design solutions covering data center technologies, virtualization, HCI, servers, storage, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure. 
• Lead the technical part of RFP/RFI processes, including BoM/BoQ and technical proposals. 
• Plan and support PoCs and solution implementation. 
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including HLD, LLD, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans. 
• Provide technical presales expertise and participate in customer-facing technical discussions. 
• Work closely with Sales and Account Management teams on customer engagement strategies. 
• Develop and manage the company’s product and solution portfolio. 
• Build strong technical relationships with vendors and distributors, supporting vendor strategy, certifications, vendor partnership levels, and joint business planning. 
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis. 

Required Hard & Technical Skills

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience. 
• Strong expertise in IT Infrastructure, Network, and Security technologies. 
• Solid knowledge of data center technologies, virtualization, HCI, servers, storage, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure. 
• Proven experience in solution architecture and technical presales. 
• Hands-on experience with RFP/RFI, BoM/BoQ, PoCs, and technical documentation (HLD/LLD). 
• Experience working with enterprise customers, Sales teams, vendors, and distributors. 
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. 

Desirable Technical Skills

• Experience with SD-WAN and enterprise networking solutions. 
• Understanding of Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity solutions. 
• Vendor certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Nutanix, Dell Technologies, HPE, Fortinet, or Palo Alto. 
• Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, including Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, and Microsoft Security.
