Junior Procurement Specialist (Contractor)

A leading global technology company is currently seeking qualified contractors for key positions.

Job Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Find and communicate with suppliers.
• Request and compare supplier quotations.
• Support RFI, RFQ, RFP and bidding processes.
• Prepare price and supplier comparison reports.
• Support supplier selection and evaluation.
• Follow up on supplier prices, delivery dates and quality.
• Maintain supplier information and documentation.
• Support supplier onboarding and qualification.
• Monitor supplier performance and prepare regular reports.
• Assist with supplier audits, reviews and improvement activities.
• Support negotiations with suppliers on price, delivery and commercial terms.
• Assist with contract preparation and implementation.
• Follow up on supplier issues and corrective actions.
• Support cost reduction and lead-time improvement projects.
• Identify and report potential supply risks.
• Maintain accurate information in procurement and supply chain systems.
• Ensure all activities follow company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Economics or a related field.
• Min 2 years of relevant experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
