Logistics & Expediting Intern

Location: Azerbaijan

Employment Type: Internship (Full-Time / Part-Time)

A company operating in an international business environment is looking for a motivated and organized Logistics & Expediting Intern to join its Logistics & Supply Chain team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with domestic and international shipment coordination;
• Monitor purchase orders and support expediting activities;
• Track production, shipping schedules, deliveries, and key milestones;
• Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation providers;
• Assist with preparation and verification of shipping documentation;
• Support customs clearance documentation;
• Maintain shipment tracking reports and logistics records;
• Identify potential delivery delays and support follow-up activities;
• Prepare logistics and expediting status reports.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, Engineering, Economics, or a related field;
• Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain principles;
• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word;
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills;
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn;
• Good command of English;
• Azerbaijani and/or Russian would be an advantage;
• Knowledge of Incoterms, import/export documentation, customs processes, or procurement would be an advantage.

Internship Duration: 2–6 months.

This internship offers practical exposure to international logistics, procurement support, supplier communication, shipment tracking, and supply chain operations, with potential consideration for future employment based on performance.
