Job Purpose

Manage the end-to-end purchasing of goods and services, ensuring the company secures the right quality at competitive cost and on time, while complying with internal procurement policy and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders in 1C
Source and pre-qualify suppliers; collect and compare commercial and technical offers
Prepare bid comparison sheets and recommend awards to management
Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and warranty conditions
Draft, review, and follow up on supply contracts in coordination with legal and finance
Expedite open orders and monitor delivery performance; resolve shortages, delays, and quality claims
Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and customs on incoming shipments and documentation
Maintain the supplier database, price lists, and procurement records for audit purposes
Track and report on procurement KPIs (cost savings, lead time, on-time delivery, PO cycle time)
Support annual budgeting and inventory planning with spend data and market price forecasts

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
3-5 years of procurement or purchasing experience
Working knowledge of procurement processes, Incoterms, and contract basics
Confident user of MS Excel; experience with an ERP/procurement module
Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier-management skills
Languages: Azerbaijani, English — Russian an advantage
Accuracy, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple orders under deadline pressure
