Production Director (News)

On behalf of Euronews, IRES is looking for an experienced Production Director (News) to join an international media project in Baku.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the daily production of live news programmes
• Manage studios, crews, control rooms, live links and outside broadcasts
• Develop production plans, shift structures and detailed rundowns
• Coordinate editorial, technical and graphics teams
• Lead major live events and breaking news coverage
• Support programme launches, relaunches and format development
• Manage and coach production teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 years of experience in TV production
• At least 5 years in senior production management at a national news channel
• Proven experience managing daily live news production
• Experience with a channel launch, relaunch, studio move or major format change
• Experience managing large teams and production budgets
• Good understanding of modern newsroom, studio automation and graphics systems
• Native Azerbaijani and good working English
