Project HSE Coordinator

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan (Office-based, with offshore/site visits as required)

We are seeking an experienced Project HSE Coordinator to support HSE management and compliance across onshore and offshore project activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation and compliance with HSE Management Systems, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Develop and implement project HSE plans, procedures, and Emergency Response Plans.
• Conduct HSE inspections, monitoring, risk assessments, and internal/external audits.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate HSE activities with clients, subcontractors, and project management.
• Organize HSE training, inductions, and safety awareness programs.
• Supervise HSE teams and monitor safety compliance on offshore vessels and project sites.
• Conduct HSE readiness reviews for onshore and offshore facilities.

Requirements

• Higher education; NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HSE experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, HSE legislation, and risk management.
• Experience in offshore, marine, oil & gas, or major construction projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of offshore and vessel HSE requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Fluent English and Azerbaijani.
• Willingness to undertake offshore and site visits when required.
