Senior Automation QA Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to help keep CenataSure reliable and scalable as it grows. You'll design and maintain automation solutions, improve test coverage, cut down regression effort, and catch quality risks early in the development lifecycle.

You'll work closely with developers, analysts and the rest of the QA team, continuously improving our testing processes and automation capabilities as you go.

This is a hands-on automation role, not a maintenance one. You'll work with complex calculations, data processing, integrations, and business workflows, helping the team automate the areas that provide the greatest quality and efficiency gains.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, maintain and improve automated test suites — API, integration and backend testing
• Run exploratory, functional, regression and performance testing
• Analyse system dependencies to head off regression issues before they land
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
• Keep automation scalable across multiple environments and configurations
• Track, analyse and improve test execution results and coverage
• Review code for test automation
• Work closely with developers and analysts
• Mentor the team on automation best practice

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in QA, including 3+ years in test automation
• Strong experience with C# / .NET for test automation
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies
• Experience with test design, risk-based testing, and impact analysis
• Experience with CI/CD integration
• Knowledge of SQL and noSQL (Microsoft SQL server, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB)
• Ability to analyze system architecture and dependencies
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal English and Russian.
• Experience with performance / load testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
• Experience with UI test automation is a plus
• Experience in the re/insurance area is useful but not essential
