Senior QA Engineer

We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer to help protect the quality, reliability and business correctness of CenataSure. You'll validate complex business functionality, spot quality risks early, and help the team ship high-quality releases with confidence.

You'll work closely with analysts, developers and the rest of the QA team to make sure requirements are properly understood, thoroughly tested, and delivered with minimal risk.

This is a role for someone who reviews requirements as critically as they review a build — spotting ambiguities, missing detail and edge cases before they become production risk, and taking ownership of test coverage across large, high-risk areas of the platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design, execute and maintain test scenarios and test cases for complex business functionality
• Run exploratory, functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing
• Analyse defects, get to the root cause, and verify fixes
• Make sure business requirements are fully validated before release
• Review requirements and specifications from a quality perspective
• Spot ambiguities, missing requirements and risks early in the development lifecycle
• Contribute to test planning, effort estimation and risk assessment
• Define test coverage for large and high-risk features
• Use SQL and NoSQL databases to investigate issues and verify results
• Work closely with analysts and developers 
• Help continuously improve QA processes and release quality

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience in software quality assurance
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB)
• Extensive experience in manual testing
• Strong grasp of software testing methodologies and QA best practice
• Comfortable working with complex calculation logic and large-scale data processing scenarios
• Strong analytical and leadership skills
• Able to influence product quality decisions
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal English and Russian
• Experience in the re/insurance area is useful but not essential
