Student Information System Assistant

We are currently seeking a talented, dynamic, and motivated SIS Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in school settings and a strong command of IT.

Requirements are as follows:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in IT.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the related field. 
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and colleagues.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team
• Ability to communicate fluently verbally and in writing in the Azerbaijan Language, Russian, English. 

Key Responsibilities

• Data Management & Analysis
• Accurately input, update, and maintain student information within the system.
• Use tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and databases to manage, analyze, and manipulate data.
• Generate reports on student enrollment, performance, and other key metrics.
• Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze data trends and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Assist in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of student information systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system-related issues.
• Quickly learn and adapt to new software and digital tools as required.
• Support system improvements and upgrades in collaboration with the ICT team.
• Train students, parents, and staff on how to effectively use the student information systems.
• Develop clear instructions and guidance materials to improve system adoption.
• Serve as a point of contact for user support and system-related inquiries.
• Work closely with Admission team and administration to ensure data accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff using various platforms.
• Contribute to the development and documentation of policies related to data management and security.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with student information systems or database environments is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, CSV handling.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or database management is desirable.
• Experience with SIS platforms or similar systems is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Organized and highly reliable

CVs will be shortlisted based on a candidate’s work experience and meeting the requirements. Successful candidates will be interviewed.
