1Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how your personal data is collected, stored, processed, and protected when you use our platform. We operate in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Personal Data (18 March 2010). By using the platform you accept this Policy.
2Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases: (1) Performance of contract — data provided when submitting an application is necessary to process your job application; (2) Consent — for marketing communications and optional fields; you may withdraw consent at any time; (3) Legal obligation — to comply with lawful requests from government authorities; (4) Legitimate interests — to ensure platform security, prevent fraud, and improve the service.
3Data we collect
We may collect personal data including name, surname, email address, phone number, work experience, education details, CV document, salary expectations, LinkedIn profile, and date of birth. Technical data (IP address, browser type, device information, page visits, session duration) is also recorded automatically. We only process data obtained directly from you or from lawful sources.
4Automated processing and AI scoring
Our platform analyses candidates' CVs and application data using artificial intelligence technology to calculate a match score between 0 and 100. Third-party AI service providers may be used for this process; your data is only shared for analysis purposes and is not retained by them. AI scoring assists employers in comparing candidates — the final hiring decision is always made by the relevant company's representative. You have the right to object to automated scoring and request human review; contact us or the company you applied to. AI models are updated regularly; absolute accuracy of results is not guaranteed.
5How we use your data
Collected data is used to manage your account, match job listings to your profile, deliver applications to employers, send notifications, improve platform performance, and prevent fraud. Your data is never sold, rented, or exchanged for commercial purposes with third parties.
6Data sharing
Your personal data may only be shared with: (1) companies you apply to — CV and application details; (2) government authorities when required by law; (3) partner service providers (hosting, email, payment processing) — only to the extent necessary to deliver the service; (4) AI analytics service providers — for scoring purposes only, without retention. All partners are bound by contractual obligations to protect data confidentiality.
7Data retention
For active accounts, data is retained for as long as the account remains active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 90 days, except where a legal obligation requires longer retention. CV documents are retained for 2 years from the date of application. Accounts showing no activity for 24 months may be deleted following email notice. Data required for accounting and tax obligations is retained for the period prescribed by law (typically 5 years).
8Your rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data: access (to obtain a copy of your data), rectification (to correct inaccurate data), erasure (in certain circumstances), restriction of processing, portability (in machine-readable format), and objection (including to automated decisions). Your request will be answered within 30 calendar days. If you believe your rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with the competent personal data protection authority of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
9Cookies
Our platform uses cookies for the following purposes: session management (essential, technical), remembering user preferences (functional), and platform usage statistics (analytics). Third-party analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) may be used. You may disable analytics cookies in your browser settings; essential cookies are required for the platform to function.
10International data transfers
Our hosting infrastructure may include servers located outside the Republic of Azerbaijan. In such cases, your data may be transferred to another country. Such transfers are carried out only where an adequate level of data protection is ensured — through contractual protection mechanisms or standard contractual clauses.
11Data breach notification
In the event of a security breach that puts your personal data at risk, the relevant government authorities will be notified within the timeframe required by Azerbaijani law. Where the risk to you is high, we will send you an immediate notification to your registered email address. The notification will describe the nature of the breach, the data affected, the measures taken, and the steps you can take to protect yourself.
