Junior Accountant

Office Location - The Club Port Baku

Main Accountability

• Issuance of invoices to corporate customers on timely basis
• Keeping track of outstanding invoices
• Matching purchase orders with good receive notes and supplier invoices
• Costing supplier invoices and processing with payments using online banking system
• Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
• Preparation of documentation and follow up on petty cash expenses
• Assist in preparation of Financial Statements
• Assist in internal and external audit

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field;
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance is preferred;
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting;
• Understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, and bank reconciliation processes;
• Good knowledge of MS Excel;
• Good command of English or Russian;
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage;
• Good attention to detail and strong numerical skills;
• Strong organizational and time-management skills;
• Ability to meet deadlines and work accurately under pressure;
• Good communication and teamwork skills;
• International accounting or finance certifications are an advantage.
