Offshore Mechanic Foreman (local candidates only)

We are looking for an experienced Offshore Mechanic Foreman to join an offshore construction vessel project.

Work Location: Offshore Construction Vessel

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the mechanic/maintenance team onboard the vessel.
• Ensure continuous operation of assigned equipment through preventive, routine and corrective maintenance.
• Organize equipment repairs and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure maintenance activities are performed in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications and established procedures.
• Coordinate the deck mechanic team and ensure work is completed according to quality requirements and agreed schedules.
• Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), isolation procedures, Toolbox Talks and JSA requirements.
• Monitor equipment condition and promptly report equipment malfunctions.
• Implement maintenance procedures and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and availability.
• Manage and evaluate the performance of assigned maintenance personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage and related costs.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure availability of required spare parts.
• Ensure workshops and work areas are maintained in a safe, clean and organized condition.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE/HSEQ policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Technical education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role on a construction vessel within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong practical knowledge of mechanical equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Previous experience supervising and coordinating mechanical/maintenance teams.
• Good understanding of offshore HSE requirements and safe working practices.
• Fluent English and Azerbaijani.
