Planning Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Planning of projects, including preparation of project work schedules; 
• Conducting analysis for relevant projects, as well as preparing schedules and budgets; 
• Preparing project schedules and mobilization schedules using specialized software (Primavera or MS Project), covering work scope and deadlines; 
• Participating in the preparation of tender documents; 
• Analyzing delays in planned activities; 
• Identifying the causes of delays and discussing them with engineers to determine appropriate corrective actions; updating project plans accordingly; 
• Forecasting and evaluating potential risks and scenarios to ensure that project activities are completed within the planned budget and timeframe; 
• Determining and calculating material and manpower resources required for the project, preparing relevant reports, and directly monitoring their implementation; 
• Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related field; 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills; 
• Knowledge of Primavera or MS Project; 
• At least 2–3 years of relevant work experience; 
• Strong sense of responsibility, decision-making and problem-solving skills, as well as planning, organizational, and teamwork skills; 
• Excellent command of Azerbaijani; knowledge of English and Russian is an advantage.

Working Conditions

• 5-day work schedule; 
• Workplace: Sumgayit city; 
• Lunch and transportation are provided by the company; 
• Salary will be determined during the interview based on the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
